Ford: Not Out of the Hole, But Future Looks Brighter
JunoTrade submits: With enthusiastic third quarter reporting finally in (see report here; earnings call transcript here), Ford (F) and GM seemed to be generating cautious optimism in the stock market Tuesday. As the world’s most profitable automaker, Ford, of Dearborn, Michigan, a Detroit suburb, still has a heavier debt load than both Chrysler and GM. Consumers tend to reward those they admire with loyalty and sales. Ford’s new survivalist image probably accounts for some of its increased American sales which are pushing production from 570,000 vehicles to an estimated 590,000.Complete Story » seekingalpha.com |
