K-Sea Transportation: Insiders Abandoning Ship
Dan Plettner submits:When facts change, so too do my conclusions. I previously opened and closed a profitable long position in K-SEA Transportation Partners LP (KSP), updating my actions and perspectives on Seeking Alpha every step along the way. As previously documented, my investing decisions were informed by assessing insider trading in contrast to analyst assumptions. I anticipated successful debt covenant restructuring and closed the position profitably on the news. As an author, I also promptly updated my articles with comments to reflect that the utility of my original observations had run its course and that I had closed my long position. I am now short shares of K-SEA Transportation Partners LP because I expect the value of shares to fall significantly in the coming months. Let me be clear that my own short position is less than 1000 shares and that I don’t know of any other current shorts in any way associated with me. I am sharing my new conclusions in establishing my own track record with discipline and objectivity; I'm not publishing with an interest to affect the price myself.Complete Story » seekingalpha.com |
